Temple Steward
The Temple Steward is responsible for overseeing and maintaining the operations and sacred functions of our Religious Temple. They are responsible for maintaining the space, ensuring cleanliness, and preserving the integrity of the sacred area. The Steward is also in charge of overseeing festivals and ceremonies; assisting in and/or facilitating religious rites and rituals; as well as ensuring that all materials are prepared and in order.
Our Temple Steward can also be of assistance to worshippers or visitors; be that by explaining our practices or by helping others engage respectfully with our Temple and its customs.
Aön Re
Aön Re (he/him) is a 26 year old, first generation Witch and Hellenic Polytheist, currently residing in the Southern United States. He is a non-binary, queer pagan who has been practicing his craft for over 10 years. With a spiritual background in Wicca, Hinduism, Eclectic Witchcraft, and Hellenic Polytheism - Aön welcomes Witches and Pagans from all paths to Temple Hyacinthus.
Raised by a Roman Catholic mother and Methodist father, Aön was raised Roman Catholic and was a practicing Catholic until the age of 13 when he left the church to pursue a path in Modern Witchcraft.
Aön aligns himself as Agnostic, a Hellenic Polytheist, and a Witch. He is firm believer in Religious Pluralism, and does not subscribe to the ideas of Religious Monism found in the monotheistic religions of the past and modern day.
In 2024 Aön Re founded Temple Hyacinthus to create a central location for not only his religious and magical practice, but also for the community he wishes to create. His vision is that of a spiritual center where Hellenic Pagans can gather and cultivate community.
